Special features:
item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves. Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface with minimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.

Fixing System, Rebate Profile X 8 40 3mm Al can be used to fasten panels that are 3 mm thick. Working surfaces, storage shelves and air-permeable wall panels (such as air grilles) can be built using Perforated Sheet St 3mm (0.0.717.52).
The aluminium profile clips onto Fixing System, Base Profile X 8 (0.0.716.23).

The item Fixing System is a modular system for fixing in place panels. It is particularly suitable for use in cleanrooms but can also be used to build walls and ceilings. When used together, Base Profiles, Angle Strip covers, Rebate Profiles and Lip Seals help to create easy-to-clean surfaces of the type that are needed in a cleanroom.
The Fixing System can also be combined with a range of panel elements as well as Lines X and XMS. There is no need to cut out sections on profiles or panels.

Note: To ensure easy installation, aluminium profiles for panel-fastening should be ordered 0.5 mm shorter than the calculated cut length.

Base Profile X 8 (0.0.716.23) is the foundation of the item Fixing System and is used to hold in place Rebate Profiles and seals. A range of different wall structures can be implemented (single skin, double skin, sandwich design) as appropriate to the application in question, and various different materials can be incorporated, such as opaque plastic, polycarbonate, acrylic glass and perforated sheet metal.
Installation sequence for the item Fixing System:
1. Press Base Profile X 8 into the groove, or use a mallet to tap it into place
2. Clip the appropriate Rebate Profile into the Base Profile
3. Insert Lip Seal 8 into the Rebate Profile (if required)
4. Insert the panel element
5. Press Angle Strip X 8 into place from the outside, or use a mallet to tap it into place
6. Done!
