Special features:
item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves. Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface with minimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.
Components that are RoHS-compliant contain no dangerous substances such as lead or cadmium. EC Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1) restricts the use of certain substances in electronic devices and components. These include batteries, etc.
All substances are registered according to the REACH regulation. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) ensures that users have accurate information on the type and properties of operating materials, lubricants, etc. that they might come into contact with.

Details

When an Automatic-Fastening Set is installed at the end of a profile, Panel-Clamping Strip 8 Al and Panel-Clamping Strip 8 made of plastic both need to have 40 mm trimmed from them so they can be fitted into the Line 8 groove.
Panel-Clamping Strips 8 are ideal for retrofitting panel elements (preferably made of Acrylic Glass, PET-G or Polycarbonate) into a closed profile frame. Apart from straight saw cuts, no further machining of the panel element or Panel-Clamping Strips is required if the profile frame is connected with Central-Fastening Sets 8.
Panel-Clamping Strips consist of two articles. The first of these, an aluminium strip (0.0.495.05), locates into the profile groove and holds the panel element in place. A second strip, made of flexible plastic, is then used to secure both the panel element and the aluminium strip in the groove. If necessary, the plastic strip can be levered out in order to remove the panel element from the frame.
Panel-Clamping Strips secure the panel element so that there is a minimal offset to the outer edge of the profile. This produces a smooth outer wall for protective enclosures and helps reduce turbulence caused by air flows.
The thickness of the panel element (s) determines which Panel-Clamping Strip is required.
s = 2 - 4 / 4 - 6 / 6 - 8 / 8 - 10 mm
A screwdriver is used to lever out the Panel-Clamping Strip so as to enable removal of the panel element from the frame.
