Special features:
item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves. Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface with minimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.

Details

Profile 8 80x40 4N180 E is a universal construction profile made of high-quality anodized aluminium in the modular dimension of Line 8.
This considerably weight-reduced aluminium profile in the E (economy) design variant from item features two open Line 8 profile grooves. Its two wide sides feature unbroken surfaces. This aluminium profile can be used to build frames that have easy-to-clean unbroken outer surfaces.
The profiles in Line 8 are available in standard, light and economy (E) design variants. Due to additional cavities, a Profile 8 80x40 light weighs around 33 percent less than a Profile 8 80x40 in the same length. A Profile 8 80x40 E weighs approximately 47 percent less.
The area moments of inertia against profile deflection and the maximum groove load-bearing capacity of the selected profile must be given due consideration in respect of the loads involved.
Profiles 8 E from item are available with unbroken outer sides in a variety of arrangements. On the weight-optimised economy profiles, there is no profile groove concealed under the profile wall.
