Separator 6, Carriage D37-32 is used to release individual Carriages in the item Suspended Conveyor System sequentially.
The Separator stops Carriages from travelling along Conveyor Rail Profile 6 30x30-80 (0.0.712.90). When actuated via a Bowden cable or a roller element, it will allow one Carriage to pass through it.The Separator uses two return springs. To reduce the required release force, the first spring in the direction of travel can be removed.
If two or more Carriages are to be allowed through at the same time, Separator 6, Carriage D37-32 can be converted. To do this, replace the connecting bracket in the scope of supply with a Threaded Rod M6 (0.0.709.42) and Angle Joint Set M6 (0.0.701.13).
When the two modules of the Separator are connected in this way, the group of Carriages between the modules is released together.
Separator 6, Carriage D37-32 consists of two modules that are connected by a bracket, which is included in the scope of supply. First, fasten the two modules to the Conveyor Rail Profile. Next, fit the bracket in place.
Bowden Cable Mounting M6 (0.0.724.81) is ideal for actuating the Separator with a Bowden cable. It ensures the correct spacing from the Conveyor Rail Profile is maintained.
If more than one Carriage needs to be separated, a suitable gap must be created between the two modules of Separator 6, Carriage D37-32 when fitting them to the Conveyor Rail Profile. In this case, use a Threaded Rod M6 (0.0.709.42) to connect together the modules instead of the connecting bracket that is included in the scope of supply.
Use Angle Joint Set M6 (0.0.701.13) to make the connection between the Threaded Rod and the levers.
