Corner-Fastener with Roller 8 40x40 can be used with Profiles 8 40x40 to build large sliding doors. It creates a stable profile connection for the door frame and features an adjustable roller element.
Depending on how the roller element is arranged in the Corner-Fastener, the door element will sit centrally over the guide groove or can be offset in an eccentric arrangement. As a result, the clearance of two sliding doors in parallel Line 8 grooves can be modified.
A sliding door made using Profiles 8 40x40 can consist of a single moving door and a fixed segment. In this case, the maximum access area is 50 percent of the overall width.
The door can be used with lockable Sliding-Door Lock 8 40x40 (0.0.723.87), which also acts as a handle. Alternatively, you can also use an item handle and Sliding Door Magnetic Catch 8 (0.0.718.40).
To build a sliding door made of Profiles 8 40x40 that has a large access area, it is best to use three moving door segments. In this case, the maximum opening is 66 percent of the overall width.
A sliding door that doesn’t have a fixed segment can be opened and closed from the right or left. A Sliding-Door Lock 8 (0.0.715.40) is therefore used on the front door segment and a Sliding-Door Lock 8 40x40 (0.0.723.87) combined with Frame Profile 8 40x40 (0.0.707.73) on the rear sliding door.
Alternatively, item handles and Sliding Door Magnetic Catches 8 (0.0.718.40) can also be used.
When a sliding door made using Profiles 8 40x40 has two moving and two fixed segments, it can be opened in the centre. The maximum access area equates to 50 percent of the overall width.
Both moving segments can be held shut by Sliding-Door Lock 8 (0.0.715.40). Alternatively, you can also use item handles and Sliding Door Magnetic Catches 8 (0.0.718.40).
Changing the arrangement of the spacer discs creates an offset of 2 mm to the side. Reversing the running direction of the roller element creates an offset of 4 mm.
