Special features:
item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves. Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface with minimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.

Step Profile 8 160
The narrow Step Profile 8 160 with a ridged surface provides a secure footing. It exhibits no discernible profile deflection, even when used to build wide steps. All the screws and nuts in Step Profile Bracket Set 8 160 are covered and hidden from users’ view.
The tread surface of Step Profile 8 160 is perfect for stepladders with a 60° pitch. On stairways with a 30° or 38° pitch, two Step Profiles are connected together to form one deep tread and installed together using Step Profile Bracket Set 8 320. The two 5 mm-wide fastening brackets on a step must be taken into account when calculating the overall width.
Step Profiles 8 160 can also be used in lengths of up to 6000 mm to build platforms. When used on platforms, they are laid out as panels in Frame Profile 8 120x40 light, meaning that no additional brackets need to be taken into account.
